If you are homeless or at risk of being homeless, our advocates can help you with Social Security Benefits enrollment FREE of charge, through the SOAR Program.

 

What is SOAR?

SOAR stands for SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery. It increase access to Social Security disability benefits for eligible children and adults who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and have a serious mental illness, medical impairment, and/ or co-occurring substance use disorder
 
The SOAR Program helps eligible clients apply for:
⦁    Social Security Income (SSI) 
⦁    Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) 
⦁    Social Security Retirement. 

Clients must meet the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) definition of homeless.  Click image for more information.
