Long Beach, CA - Help Me Help You is proud to announce the expansion of its Long Beach Food Pantry Delivery program, providing free and low-cost home-delivered food pantry groceries to residents who are unable to access their 10 Grocery Grab N Go, locations. For a $10 delivery fee, families can receive fresh and packaged groceries delivered directly to their door. Medi-Cal members qualify for free delivery and groceries at no cost.
Since 2006, Help Me Help You has been dedicated to addressing food insecurity and promoting health and wellness across Long Beach and surrounding communities. The expanded delivery program ensures that all residents in need, regardless of age or ability, can access nutritious food in the comfort of their homes.
"Ensuring that everyone in our community has access to nutritious food is essential," said Zina Washington, Executive Director of Help Me Help You. "Expanding our food pantry delivery program from serving seniors and persons with disabilities to all residents in need is a critical step toward ending hunger in Long Beach."
Delivery Areas Include: Long Beach and surrounding neighborhoods, including Signal Hill, Lomita, Harbor City, San Pedro, Carson, Wilmington, and Paramount.
Delivery Options: Weekly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly.
Clients can customize their grocery selections to meet their medical conditions and nutrition needs, including Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, Diabetes-Friendly, Heart-Healthy, Weight Management, and more.
Groceries may include:
Fresh and packaged fruits & vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, milk and alternatives tailored to your care plan
Condition-specific options, such as low-sodium items for heart health, carb-conscious foods for diabetes, or kidney-friendly selections
Easy-to-follow tips and recipes for preparing meals at home

Help Me Help You has been dedicated to ending hunger, reaching more than 66,000 individuals annually - including children, families, seniors, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness - through free food pantries, home-delivered groceries, and enrollment assistance for programs such as CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and General Relief, as well as housing referrals and other essential services.
